General Rules
Please be warned: I am extremely shy when it comes to new people.
I am extremely selective. Nothing against you personally, I promise. I'm extremely shy and a bit intimidated by the verse
I reserve the right to block if I am uncomfortable with you.
Though I do not write any lewd/smut/NSFW RP, writer is +21
I tend to avoid interacting with non-RP accounts. I make a few special exceptions, but they tend to be for jokes.
There will be spoilers for various games in the description sections.
No godmodding or forcing anything onto my muse. I think this should honestly go without saying, but I’m putting this here as a very stern warning.
Please don’t interrupt an RP that I’m having with another person. I really shouldn’t have to say this but I’ve had this happen to me too many times in the past.
You are welcome to add commentary on the TL, or even QRT, but do not jump in uninvited and expect a response. In general, I’ll try to match your level of detail, but don't feel obligated if I go a bit overboard with a reply.
English only please. I’m not multilingual. And please be literate. I’d rather actually know what I’m responding to. I don’t mind minor typos though.
That said, do not be surprised if I toss in some Sumerian or Latin. Each muse is Singleship with chem, I will note if otherwise.
Also no smut, lewd, etc. This especially goes for Kadaj and Noel, as I write Kadaj as being anywhere from 13 to 17 and Noel being mentally around 10 years old.
Dark themes abound around here. I'll put more specific warnings for each character, but in general, expect canon-typical dark themes.
The exception to canon typical dark themes is on Palladius (@PallasEnsarkosi). The themes are significantly darker than canon. If things in the Pandaemonium Raid made you uncomfortable, do not follow that account. This includes a fair number of tw/cw things such as emotional manipulation, body horror, implied self inflicted injury and a lot more. You have been warned. I will put an additional warning on his profile page.I'm only partially sorry for some of the hot takes on tanking you may see on Thancred's account.
Do not presume that my muses will be nice to you. This goes especially for Lahabrea.
If there’s anything you aren’t sure about, feel free to send me a DM and we can talk about it. I’m always open to chatting with other writers.
Character specific Rules and Headcanons can be found on their respective pages!

Much the same as the mainline events of FFVII Compilation, Cloud was a member of SOLDIER (to her knowledge). But the core difference is that she hid her gender and posed as a man and has kept that act up. No her name is not Claudia/Cloudia or the like. It’s just Cloud (you can blame her father for that one). Cloud opted to pose as a man when attempting to join SOLDIER because she felt that it would improve her chances (feel free to judge her for that ridiculous line of thinking). Following the Nibelheim Incident and Zack’s Last Stand, the persona she took on only reinforced her belief that she had to pose as a man.
To clarify: she is not a trans man. She is a young woman attempting to pass herself off as a man due to her own decisions. While she will be using female pronouns in narration, she asks others to use male pronouns to refer to her.
She is 100% as flat as a board. Helps her maintain the fact that she’s posing as a man since it means she has no serious need for a binder.
Even though she’s flat enough to make Lucina from FE:Awakening look busty, Cloud still has the habit of using her arms to cover her chest, she’s adapted it to just crossing her arms, but a keen eye can tell she’s being bashful
She does lower her voice when speaking and it’s second nature to her at this point.
Cloud is extremely self conscious. She doesn’t care much for her looks, but she hates when people stare. She becomes bashful or defensive when she feels people are looking.
Zack did not know she was a woman until their escape from Nibelheim. He found out when he tried to change her out of her mako soaked uniform and immediately panicked.
Madam M and Andrea Rhodea immediately knew that Cloud was a woman just from a glance, and Andrea actually spoke to Cloud about her insecurities. Aerith figured it out pretty quickly. Tifa knew from the start but kept quiet out of respect for Cloud’s wishes. Barret still doesn’t know, despite Cloud telling him point blank.
Cloud does have mild ADHD. It’s something of a blessing and a curse. While it keeps her sharp in battle, making it easier for her to find openings to exploit and paying attention to the general flow of battle as a whole, out of battle she can be easily distracted (which usually manifests itself as seeing caches of something and going after it in hopes of finding a potion or two).
Her hair is 100% naturally spiky. It’s hereditary, from her mother, although she does style it a bit to ensure it doesn’t get in her face.
Cloud almost entirely takes after her mother
Cloud’s mother was actually something of an inverse of Cloud’s persona, being gentle and kind on the surface but a total spitfire tomboy underneath.
Despite what Sephiroth may or may not suggest, Cloud’s mother put up a decent fight in her final moments. Even in spite of being outclassed and overwhelmed, she did not go down quietly.
Even before she took on her SOLDIER persona, Cloud was incredibly talented in combat, her natural aptitude for combat almost got her into SOLDIER alone. Why didn’t she end up in SOLDIER? She lacked the mental fortitude for it.
She’s gotten a compliment from all three of the big name Firsts (Angeal, Genesis, and Sephiroth) when they found her in the training sim for how well she was holding her own against SOLDIER Second level simulations (which is extremely impressive for someone without the SOLDIER enhancements)
Angeal actually ended up asking her why she didn’t join SOLDIER and she said she tried but was rejected.
Cloud was frequently the rep for public security in the SOLDIER vs PS competitions (which she has bested several Thirds and even some Seconds)
Despite being as strong as any other SOLDIER, Cloud tends to focus more on faster combat styles due to her not having as much body mass to throw around for big hits and just being physically smaller than canon!Cloud.
Cloud is actually ambidextrous. She was actually born left handed but learned and taught herself to be right dominant. Even though she’s now mostly right handed, she throws a mean left hook.
Cloud has always been a restless sleeper and has suffered from nightmares since she was a child. She tends to sleeptalk. And following the Nibelheim Incident, she started sleepwalking
Cloud’s nightmares mostly are her suppressed memories as well as some of the ones Jenova and Sephiroth passed onto her
Physical contact is extremely awkward for Cloud. She’ll usually shy away or be dismissive.
She strangely rather enjoys head pats, but she will never admit to that. Ever. She doesn’t know why she really likes it but it makes her feel comfortable.
Ruffling her hair can get two responses. She will either get annoyed (annoyance levels will vary by source) or it might cause her to have a memory-induced headache.

Adri (@CrimsonSummons) | S | During the time Adri was turned into a variant of emerald carbuncle (called a "jade carbuncle" due to her being the heritor of the Jade threads), Cloud befriended her and she became Cloud's carbuncle summon. Whenever Adri wants a break from her duties as advisor, she has an invitation from Cloud to join her on her adventures. It seems Cloud may have developed feelings for Adri. |
Sephiroth | "Get lost." | Cloud's nemesis and perpetual tormentor. Will attack on sight if she isn't freaking the hell out. Will also hit him with a chair if given the chance. |
Kadaj
Full Name | Kadaj |
Aliases | N/A |
Allegiance | Himself, |
Age | ? (appears anywhere from between 14 to 17) |
Jobs/Roles | Remnant |
Elemental Attunement | Wind/Dark |
Weapon of Choice | Twin-bladed katana, Bahamut ZERO materia. |
Pronouns | He/Him |
Height | 4'11 ~ 5'2 |
A very important bit of information: Kadaj is currently in Grastaea, living with the Apostles as Pope Origa and Basileus's adopted son. When referring to Origa, he will always call her "mom". She has not replaced Jenova as Mother. He just says he has two maternal figures: his mom and Mother.- He’s 100% a tsundere.
- He's ADHD and extremely moody
- He can get very chatty if he’s feeling amicable... very big if though.
- Despite being the leader and being (technically) the oldest, he refers to Yazoo and Loz as his older brothers because he’s physically younger (no more than 17) while they are around 19 and 21 respectively.
- Contrary to canon, Kadaj is also a culmination of Sephiroth’s pre-Nibelheim Incident memories. All of those human memories were basically forced onto Kadaj to make him a little bit more complete and (in a construction sense) stable. This had the reverse effect on his sanity.
- While he knows about Sephiroth and he is, in a sense, Sephiroth for all intents and purposes, they feel alien to him.
- During the time Sephiroth had been “reborn”, Kadaj was fully conscious the whole time and it was and wasn’t him.
- In essence, Sephiroth is just another aspect of his identity, he describes it as a mask he wears and yet while wearing that mask, it’s no longer him. He is Sephiroth. Actually, to be more precise, the version of Sephiroth that Kadaj becomes is more like a primal in FFXIV, where it’s a manifestation of what Kadaj and the memories that were cobbled together to create Kadaj saw in Sephiroth, and Kadaj’s transformation is quite similar to the summoning of Shiva, where Iceheart summons the spirit of Saint Shiva and uses her body as a vessel. Except that, unlike Iceheart, Kadaj had no control.
- Due to being post AC, he actually has Jenova cells now, which are enough for him to shift back to his Sephiroth form, but it takes a severe toll on his mind and body.
- He is able to form a single wing. Interestingly, his wing looks more like Genesis’s in its structure than Sephiroth’s. According to (future) Sephiroth (when speaking through Kadaj), this is likely because Genesis was one of the few people who actually had memories of who he was. This also ties in with why Kadaj is the strongest of the Remnants when it comes to using Materia.
- The Sephiroth that Kadaj knows (aside from himself) basically tormented him and tortured him the same way Hojo had conditioned him as a child, but Kadaj would always be set up for failure, every time. And he resents the man for it.
- Exceptionally skilled with materia use, exceeds even Sephiroth’s own abilities, showcasing that he’s able to channel Bahamut’s Flare through the summon materia without actually summoning the creature in the first place
- His, Loz’s, and Yazoo’s favorite colors are red, yellow, and green respectively
- The ribbons on Sōba are actually a manifestation of Sephiroth’s connection to Cloud. Through that, he felt a connection to Aerith and it ultimately culminated in him feeling the need to have a ribbon for some reason.General stuff about abilities and skills
- Has Sephiroth’s full skill set, making him a master swordsman, specializing in the use of uchigatana, odachi, and sōba (real creative name there, bud)
- Kadaj, being heavily based on Genesis, is an incredible red mage. His capabilities with spell use exceed that of Genesis by miles though, having mastered Spell-In-Waiting with little to no effort, a technique that none of the Firsts could use as effectively

Origa | A | He doesn't know why he was drawn to her, nor why he stays with her, but she's offered him the comfort that his Mother hasn't given him yet. He calls her "mom", having been adopted by her and Basileus. While his devotion is ultimately to Jenova, he's more than happy to do what he can to please her. |
Basileus | B | Also another he's drawn to. More out of him being close to Origa than anything else, but he's not opposed to being around the man. |
Rain | B | Kadaj proclaimed and officially made Rain his unofficial newest big brother (much to Rain's chagrin). Despite Kadaj's best efforts, all of his attempts to have an adventure of some sort have either been stopped by Rain or ended in him getting pretty badly hurt, forcing him to return to the bench until he gets an Neo Vision Awakening. |
Michael | C | The Wings of Guidance, sigil-bound to Basileus, Michael became Kadaj's grandfather upon Origa's adoption of the boy. |

Lahabrea
True Name | Hephaistos |
Allegiance | Ascians |
Age | ? |
Elemental Attunement | Fire and darkness |
Weapon of Choice | Agaklytos (lance), The Heart of Sabik |
Pronouns | He/Him |
Height | [Changes vessels too frequently] |
Often resorts to pyromania as solutions.
His eye color has permanently been warped due to constant exposure to the Heart of Sabik, turning them blue-green
Additionally, his appearance when not taking a vessel is that of the dummy model (blond hair hyur). He doesn't really remember his original appearance anymore, or so he claims.
He has a love for herbal tea, claiming it helps wake him up and gives him "so many new ideas".
Aside from the usual magicks wielded by Ascians, Lahabrea excels at summoning (it was he who taught the art to the Allagans), but interestingly, in his state of transformation, he uses a myriad of different weapons, excelling particularly with a lance and bow.
His personal lance is called Agaklytos (in game it appears as a Lance of the Demon). The fire and ice being very important to him.
He's no slouch with any other weapon either.
He was one of the founders of the Nymian Royal Marines, using and developing axe-wielding techniques as well as the summoning arts employed by the scholars. It was a personal project of his, and one he actually felt a strong connection towards.
Has a large collection of auracite from Ivalice.
He's the primary keeper of @HeartOfJudgement's memory crystal.
Elidibus is like a son to him. He will gladly give his life a thousand times over for Elidibus's sake.
In an odd twist, the fixation is no longer on Athena, but the High Seraph.
Over the thousands of years following the Sundering, the dredges of his mind that composed the entity encountered in Pandaemonium's depths, calling itself Hephaistos, came to believe that while Athena was correct in that a god would see the creatures of this world as imperfect and would correct such a flaw, they had no right to interfere and attempt to correct this, for the god alone had that power. To this end, the High Seraph must be revived so that this world may finally achieve perfection.Ironically, by making use of auracite's desire amplifying capabilities to suppress Athena's corruption, where it instead affects his desire to protect and guide his beloved star without the hand of the divine's interference. Sadly, this has lead to him becoming semi-dependent on the auracite, as too long without it will cause his already deeply unraveled mind to spiral out of control.
Full Name | Thancred Waters |
Aliases | Palladius |
Allegiance | Ascians, himself |
Age | ? (estimated to be about 32) |
Elemental Attunement | Fire and darkness |
Weapon of Choice | Meena (dagger), various magicks, shard of the Heart of Sabik |
Pronouns | He/Him |
Height | 5'8.5 |
Driven to find any means necessary to aid his fellow Scions, and the sister he wanted to make up lost time for, Thancred tried to join the ranks of the Ascians as an Arcana, a black mask-adorned member. His luck took a sharp turn when Lahabrea offered to instead take him as a vessel. The two negotiated an agreement of sorts, bonding their souls. Thancred would gain Lahabrea's abilities and powers so long as Thancred carried out the Ascians' plan. Unlike his counterpart, he would remain in control even at the Praetorium, ultimately fleeing when realizing the Warrior of Light had been granted Hydaelyn's strength.
He would later develop a unique technique that allows him to puppeteer another living being as though they were a vessel while remaining concealed himself. This is how he would continue to conduct his work...
He uses Thancred and Lahabrea interchangeably. Lahabrea refers to the title he bears, but Thancred was the name given to him.
He is far more mentally unstable than he ever was while possessed, and the many long years of loneliness have only worsened his grip on reality. Despite this, the spiral into madness has not affected his ability as a tactician and intelligence agent and he remains as sharp and capable as ever.
Thancred almost never appears truly in person following the confrontation at the Praetorium. Not only can most bodies not handle both an unsundered soul bound to another, but it also is a precaution so that way he doesn't have to directly engage in battle.
After spending much time with a lesser Ascian named Athena, he has found himself a hemitheos with the aspects of the legendary firebird, Phoenix.
He shares the ability to manipulate others' shadows with the Shadowkeeper, able to turn them against their owner and have them fight on his behalf.
He is, by no means, a slouch in combat. He just prefers to ensure that he doesn't meet his end
He has a deep and burning hatred for Hydaelyn, having taken away his sister and for interfering constantly
He is a master of internment magic and can and will use it with masterful ease. Including having interred many of the Scions to keep for both study and protection.
He wears a belt around his robes keeping the crystals containing the interred Scions on his person at all times. There is one crystal he wears as a necklace and that is the internment crystal belonging to Minfilia.
Thancred regularly has one-sided conversations with the crystals as though they could respond to him. It's one of the few things that keeps him from sending himself into a spiral breakdown.
He is far more short tempered than any other incarnation of both Thancred and Lahabrea, and will not hesitate to act on violence if he feels slighted.

Thancred Waters
Full Name | Thancred Waters |
Allegiance | Scions of the Seventh Dawn |
Age | Physically 32, mentally ~37 |
Jobs/Class | |
Elemental Attunement | Fire |
Weapon of Choice | Lion Heart (Gunblade), Meena (Dagger) |
Pronouns | He/Him |
Ship | Urianger (@ArcaneAugury) |
Back when he was able to manipulate aether, Thancred was particularly gifted with fire magic. This was also accompanied with a unique quirk that caused all the flames he conjured to turn blue.
He's still traumatized from being possessed, but his coping mechanism is... questionable depending on who you ask. (It's usually him making jokes about it or even playing it up)
Interestingly, he claims to have some lingering memories and mentalities left behind from when he was possessed. While Lahabrea no longer controls him, some memories still linger, although they are mostly from after the Final Days of Amaurot.
There are a lot darker reasons as to why he has Lahabrea's memories, but he prefers to avoid talking about it, knowing full well that he can start to emotionally spiral recalling it.
His aetheric manipulation isn't entirely gone. But as witnessed in Shadowbringers, it does take a toll on him, and he might as well be drawing on his own life force. He has been seen showing a potential for using something else though...
He still carries around a set of knives in the event he's without his gunblade.
His dagger that he used throughout Legacy and ARR is a keepsake, a gift from Louisoix. Once he returned from the First, he's never without it.
He is the proud owner of a Morganite Carbuncle, a petite, pinkish carbuncle created by Urianger, Tsuki Hideyoshi, Alphinaud, and Krile, with some help from Aster Edinth to act as a service carbuncle to aid him in channeling aether. It also serves another purpose...
His vision is mismatched between his left and right eyes. His left eye's vision is far better at seeing at distances and even has the ability to discern aetheric traces, but it resulted in some extremely harsh double vision. The eyepatch he wore during the end of the Dragonsong War and the Ala Mhigan Revolution wasn't entirely for cosmetics. By now he has become a lot more comfortable, although this has led to him only using one eye at a time now.
That said, if needs be, he does occasionally use the eye patch but for his normal eye if he specifically wants to use the aetheric sight. He is a staunch believer of "You pull it, you tank it". While he will try to tell the others not to rush in, he has no qualms about letting a reckless comrade take a few hits because they couldn't wait a few seconds for him to catch up despite his warning.
Thancred was a willing vessel to Lahabrea. He sought out the Ascians, not in hopes of joining their ranks, but intending to be a double agent under the assumption he would simply join as a Lesser Ascian, an Arcana. This went horribly wrong as Lahabrea found him to be a worthy vessel, but also let the Scion instead share the effects of his tempering to Zodiark as well as his memories, the possession being more like a soul bonding. While not technically "tempered", this would have a lasting effect on his mind for the rest of his life.
Until the raid at the Waking Sands, Thancred was the one in control, orchestrating events from the shadows, acting under the belief that bringing about a Rejoining was for the betterment of the star and the future of his friends.
Were it not for the fact that Thancred protested against Lahabrea over the imperial raid, Thancred would have happily been the one to confront the Warrior of Light at the Praetorium, and had every intention of using the black auracite, the Heart of Sabik, to bring about the next Rejoining.
Thancred is constantly haunted by the guilt of what he did, and particularly by the fact that he has relapsed into that tempered mindset. The tempered mindset has developed into something of a chronic condition for him. While he's able to stave off the effects with sheer will or being preoccupied with other matters, sooner or later he needs external aid to prevent him from fully relapsing.
Luckily, the Scions did determine that it can be treated in the same way tempering can be cured, but it can never be fully cured for Thancred.
Enter Morgana, the Morganite Carbuncle. Thancred's service carbuncle. This petite carbuncle was created specifically to be on standby to help treat Thancred at a moment's notice. It also allows him to channel aether, although that ability was given to act as a cover story for its presence.
Morgana is pink to both imitate the porxies and to match the color of Minfilia and Ryne's souls.
While he is able to be treated easily by Morgana, he still feels incredibly guilty over what he did. So much so that he's extremely prone to causing himself to emotionally spiral. He hides it extraordinarily well from others, but Thancred sort of has a form of dissociative identity disorder. This isn't true to the actual condition, however it has some similarities. Early on in his life, in order to help him maintain his facade of confidence, Thancred created sort of a separate "mask" of a charismatic and confident flirt. During his time as Lahabrea, the corruption that affected the Ascian from the World Unsundered bled into Thancred's mind, the tempering and mad ambitions warping the insecurities into a twisted reflection of himself. Though their soul binding was shattered, the corruption remained. Thancred pushed these aspects of himself further and further away, desperate to deny such corruption had a grip on him until it finally twisted into a separate persona, one that had remained in the deepest reaches of his subconscious, threatening to resurface. Thanks various incidents and events, this personality surfaced proper. Insecure and fearful of loss, this other side of him is a bit possessive of Urianger and is incredibly paranoid about losing those he cares about. However, this side is also subject to the corruption left behind by Lahabrea, being tempered and ambitious. These aspects are kept mostly in check, however with some... coaxing, they can be made to spiral.
Noel
Full Name | Noel Augurelt-Waters |
Alias | The Fatebreaker |
Allegiance | Scions of the Seventh Dawn, Ryne, the Augurelt-Waters family |
Age | Physically appears around the age of 10 |
Jobs/Class | Gunbreaker |
Elemental Attunement | Light, Lightning, Fire |
Weapon of Choice | Crystalyte (Exarchic Gunblade) |
Pronouns | He/They ('it' is actually perfectly acceptable too) |
Created from light mana from Grastaea and auracite stolen from Ivalice. Following an incident where Thancred had been turned into a lightwarden-like entity (even creating a sky of unending light), the Light that had been draw from the Scion coalesced and took the form of a small child.
Found quickly by G'raha Tia, who had been present at the time the Light was expunged from Thancred, the boy was brought to Urianger, Ryne, and a now recovering Thancred, who took the sin eater-like entity under their wing, determining it was better to keep the child with them lest the demons that turned Thancred into a warden were to find the boy. Thancred would eventually bestow the name Noel upon the small Fatebreaker and add another into his now growing family.Noel is 10 by his physicality and mentality. He is a child and don't you forget it.
The boy is very naive and curious to a fault. This makes him a bit prone to being easily tricked.
Luckily for him, he has his dragon familiar, whom he and Ryne named Ciel, meaning 'sky' in Voebrant, to keep him in line. The dragon embodies more of Ran'jit's aspects, although greatly softened and comes across as more of a tired, but doting grandpa.
Despite his smaller size and reduced aether quantities, Noel's attacks still hit pretty hard. Powder Mark is still a tankbuster. Do not underestimate him.
He has some of Thancred's memories, but they're extremely hazy and he struggles to recall them.
